Almost 13 years ago, I created Pure Coco (formerly Les CocoNuts) with a simple idea: to create a natural deodorant that was effective, environmentally friendly, and made with the highest quality ingredients. I never imagined that this one product would become the beginning of something so much bigger.
Over the years, Pure Coco has allowed me to meet thousands of incredible customers, formulate products that I'm still immensely proud of, work alongside extraordinary local businesses and suppliers, and build friendships that extend far beyond skincare. In many ways, while I was growing Pure Coco, Pure Coco was helping me grow too.
If you've followed us for a while, you've probably noticed that over the last few years I've stepped back from trade shows, markets, and events. That wasn't by accident. Several years ago, I was presented with an unexpected professional opportunity that slowly became a true passion. Since then, my role has continued to grow, and this September I'll also be beginning my Master's program.
As grateful as I am for these new opportunities, they also made me realize something important. There are only so many hours in a day. And I have always believed that if I'm going to do something, it deserves my whole heart. After many, many months of reflection - and what has honestly been one of the hardest decisions I've made - I have decided that it is time to close this chapter. On August 24, Pure Coco will officially close its doors. This is a decision made with immense gratitude. I'm incredibly proud of everything we've built together. Every order, every message, every market, every collaboration, every refill, every recommendation to a friend... you've helped make this little dream possible. Thank you for trusting me. Thank you for believing in a small Quebec business. Thank you for allowing Pure Coco to become part of your daily routine.
Because this journey began with my birthday tradition, it feels only fitting that it should end the same way. Every year, I've celebrated my birthday by offering a discount equal to my age. This year, I'm turning 45. So, for one final time, on August 23rd...Enjoy 45% off everything on our website. This will be the biggest-and the last- sale in Pure Coco's history. Once the sale ends, the website will close and the remaining inventory will no longer be available.
